Please Walk With Me
by Jennifer Flores

Walk with me. . .the path of life
To explore every bend of the road
Enjoy. . .with me, in the beauty of life
For with us, it has yet to unfold.

Seek comfort with me,
In my welcoming arms
Should grief intersect in our course
Find strength with me, together as one
If despair challenges a bid for remorse.

Laugh with me, a single true laugh
To enlighten each others distress
Cry with me, a single true tear
In discovering our happiness.

Cherish with me, the wonders of life
As they have a need to be preserved
Rejoice with me, in the mysteries
Of what He has yet to be served.

Find peace with me, within our souls
When the world has gone insane
Share love with me,
Within body and heart together. . .
We’ve nothing but gain.

Never forget your special time
To reflect the man you are,
Within your own,
I will revisit the same for myself
As this dance one time,
Was all we had known.

Should our journey on this path
Feel it’s coming to an end
We’ll recall, and pull deep from within
What brought us together,
In the beauty of true love
His blessings of this precious gift,
And create it once again. . .
