Street Comix Tracts

Street Comix is an original comic-tract approach to street evangelism.
Street Comix

The Street Comix line of comic-tracts is a unique approach to street evangelism. Each of these booklets are full-color, 8-page mini-comics that tell stories that directly relate to people at rock bottom.

Distributed in such places as New York, Los Angeles, prisons, soup kitchens, street corners and hospitals and other countries, these comics have proven to be effective in starting life-transforming conversations to those who need Christ.

Jesus, in each of these stories, is shown that He can save prostitutes, drug dealers, gang members, homeless people, car thieves, pregnant teenagers, dope addicts and so much more!

Each of tracts are available in many languages and are produced in large quantities. If you would like to order large quantities of these tracts to reach people in your streets, please contact Foursquare Missions Press directly from here.

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. — Matthew 25:35-36
Street Evangelism Tracts
About Street Comix

1. What is Street Comix?
Street Comix are specifically evangelistic tracts that are produced for the conversion of non-Christians. We assist in the production and distribution of such tracts, working closely with other Christian organizations and printers.

Street Comix tracts are made possible by the combined efforts of The Christian Comics Arts Society, Foursquare Missions Press and other Christian artists and writers. Through the efforts of many artists and writers, stories have been created to reach people with the love of Christ.

Several stories and testimonials from missionaries and street preachers have come to our attention, telling us how effective these tracts are.

2. Mission Statement
Street Comix is a combined effort and trademark of Mr. Eric Jansen and Mr. Robert Flores. These two artists, along with volunteers from the Christian Comics Arts Society and Foursquare Missions Press have made use of the talents God has given them to create a unique approach to tract evangelism.

3. Specific Goals
The specific goals of Street comix is twofold: a. to preach the Gospel through the comics medium and b. to publish stories that reach the unreached peoples of the world for Jesus Christ.

Whereas, some of the Church is silent on the evils of this world, it is the responsibility for all Christians to expose the evils of Satan wherever we find it. The beauty of Street Comix is that Jesus can be shown to reach someone who normally wouldn’t be reached, they dialogue, and the sinner walks away from his or her sin a new creature.

he goal of Street Comix is not only to illustrate situations where Jesus appears and the character is saved, the goal of Street Comix is also to show situations where the character walks away with a different perspective (influencing the reader of the tract).

4. Mission Bible Verses
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. —Matthew 28:19, 20

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. — Matthew 25:35-36

5. Volunteers
Mr. Eric Jansen and Mr. Robert Flores, as the owners and creators of Street Comix, invite on an as-desired basis any volunteering artists that would like to help on a story. Without volunteering artists, these tracts would not exist. There is no profit made on these tracts, as all proceeds go directly back into sustaining the Street Comix ministry. Volunteers are involved from the very beginning of a project to the final person on the street, who will give one of these tracts to someone who needs to know about Christ.

6. History of Street Comix
Street Comix was founded by Mr. Eric Jansen and Mr. Robert Flores in May 2007, in response to a need by a New York pastor. In working with volunteers from Foursquare Missions Press and the Christian Comic Arts Society, Street Comix has been able to publish 3 tracts thus far: The Lonely Lady (for evangelizing prostitutes), Homeless Harry (for evangelizing homeless people) and Vengeance is Mine (evangelizing gang members).

7. How many members are in Street Comix?
There are no members in Street Comix (as in a trade organization). Because of Street Comix's networking ability, many people are and have been involved. Participants include and have included: Mr. Eric Jansen, Mr. Robert Flores, Mr. Rob Marsh, Mr. Jonathan Koelsch and Mr. Henry Chmielefski.

8. New Talent
Street Comix is always on the look-out for new Christian artists and writers that may want to volunteer in creating stories. Upon any submissions, Mr. Jansen and Mr. Flores will evaluate their work and determine if they would fit on a project. Mr. Jansen and Mr. Flores take a story concept from start to finish and desire to work with only Christian artists that will be a part of an important evangelistic story. They work with the production and distribution of such tracts, also, eventually getting the finished tracts into the hands of missionairies, street preachers and whoever else will use them.
