Ever wonder why the United States of America is so blessed? I often wonder that myself, especially since we, as a country, have killed over 50 million babies, turned our backs on God, and have promoted every sinful and disgusting lifestyle known to mankind. Nonetheless, God has continued to give us affluence among the nations of the world. I

I love my country. This is the greatest country ever founded by men. I wouldn't trade the freedoms I enjoy for anything in the world.

So, why are we, as a nation, in comparison to the 160+ other nations, so blessed? I firmly believe it is because we support Israel. We bless the Israelis and God blesses us because of that. The Bible says in Genesis 12:2 and 12:3:

"And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."

It's a very simple concept for the nations and peoples of the world: if you want to be blessed, bless Israel, if you don't want to be blessed, then don't bless Israel. Look at Spain and Germany and Britain and any number of other countries of the world—countries that at one time were so affluent—but, because of their anti-semitism have destroyed themselves. None of those countries will ever rise to the heights of power again. God's promises are just as valid today as they were 4,000 years ago when they were made.

So, is America less vain than all the countries of the world? Of course not. Anti-semitism runs deep in the heart of the countries of the world, including this one, and that is why I am writing this.

America is not above what other countries have done before in persecuting the Jewish people. And since 9-11, I've seen on the media and elsewhere the sentiments that if we want to have peace from the terrorists, let's let go of Israel. I have news for you, if you let go of Israel, you will destroy this nation. Israel is one of the very few things that have kept this country alive for so long.

"But what about the terrorists?!! They hate us because we support Israel!", someone quips. What about the terrorists?!! They would hate us anyway, with or without Israel. They are just using Israel as an excuse to attack us, because they hate Israel. The sons of Ishmael have hated the sons of Israel for 4,000 years. The situation is not going to change anytime soon.

Do you remember what happened in Spain in the spring of 2004? On March 11, 10 bombs on 4 trains exploded almost simultaneously during the morning rush hour. 191 people were killed and 1,800 were injured. After the attach, the terrorists warned that more terror would follow if the current president was re-elected (the one who supported America). Well, the president was defeated by a landslide, because the Spaniards didn't want any more terror and were willing to succumb to the terrorists demands. But a terrorist is a terrorist. And, a few weeks (or months later, I can't remember) the terrorists hit Spain again. So much for appeasing the terrorists. (For more on Radical Muslim Terrorists click here).

Don't think for a moment that if America turns loose of Israel that it would bring about a utopia of peace to this nation. The terrorists can't be trusted. But God can. If we are to be hurt by Muslim terrorists, then let us fight bravely, doing it BECAUSE of Israel and BECAUSE God is faithful. What an honor the history books will give to this great country, that we were the only ones that stood with Israel, through thick and thin, regardless of personal cost to us. But, even better, what an honor God will give to America when the nations are judged at the end of time, based on their treatment of Israel.
